Persons who opt to be Patron Members will receive one copy of available proceeding of conferences held till date free of cost. The Journal Mushroom Research will be sent free of cost life long. Their names and address will appear in every issue of Mushroom Research.
Yadvindra Young Scientist Award
Yadavindra young scientist award was instituted by Mushroom Society of India through an open competition amongst the young researchers during symposia or conference held time to time by the society. The guidelines are given below:
- The research should be original and should not have been presented / published elsewhere.
- Full paper has to be submitted as per the guidelines provided for Mushroom Research. Award winning paper will be published in Mushroom Research Journal. For other participants, it will be optional.
- The research should be related to the theme area of the conference.
- Time allotted for presentation will be 15 minutes. First buzz will be after 12 minutes.
- Presenter should stick to the time given. Both short and excess time will attract negative marking.
- Upper age limit for participation is 35 years for which a matriculation certificate has to be attached as a proof submitted via email to Mushroom Research.
- The Award carries a citation to the presenter and cash award of Rs 5000/-.
Why to become a member
- It is mandatory to publish paper in the journal Mushroom Research
- Members have the voting right to elect Executive Council every two years
- Members will receive hard copy of journal annually or for life (depending on type of membership)
- Members are likely to have concessional rates for attending conferences organised by MSI as compared to non-members
- Young researchers get a chance to participate in Yadvindra Young Scientist Award
